Today, I went to the mid south fair to take my sister and cousin.
It got real dark real fast, but as soon as we leave I hear Sirens...
A little intimidating while driving and the radio talk show host
making it sound worse than it is... I heard about three tornado sirens
on my way home to downtown. I see downtown, and it is like almost
pitch black while Sirens are going off. Then the radio host say the tornado
is cancelled. Like "what the heck?" Why scare the drivers? Learn
to get the facts straight before scaring people especially people that pull over
during the storms...

Yeah, i heard all that too, but we were kinda scared to leave the house, but they always make everything sound worse than it really is. I guess they hope everyone will get scared and stay in. But I'm glad you made it home safely.
ReplyDeleteI know! I was sitting at home studying and it seems nice and pretty outside and then like five minutes later it was pitch black, and all I hear is sirens and thunder!
ReplyDeleteEh... I think they hyped that tornado warning out here up a little too much. It was just some rain and a little thunderstorms.. Which is good because a tornado is NOT what we need here.
